From the Masonic News Bulletin

Greetings from the East,

On April 7th after our Stated Meeting we had an Easter Bonnet Competition and Parade.  Many members dressed up a hat or cap and joined in the fun.  Prize winners were Jim Clark, Dorothy Kelly, and Sheila Kress.  Congratulations to all who participated.  You were all winners in the Worthy Matron’s eyes!

On May 5th Dorothy Kelly’s grandson is going to conduct the DeMolay Rose Ceremony for us after our meeting.  He is the Master Councilor of the Barberton DeMolay.

On June 2nd we will be holding our annual elections.  Please reflect prayerfully regarding what office you would be willing to serve for the upcoming year.  Sharon Kress is a first time Worthy Matron and it is imperative we support her year as Worthy Matron.

Olive Chapter will be having a Grand Visitation by the Worthy Grand Matron on June 16th at our Stated Meeting.  Join us for an evening of “Stars on the beach.”  There will be a picnic supper before the meeting.  Please call Leann before June 8th to make dinner reservations. (330) 562-5285.  The meeting will be upstairs but you can still come for dinner and refreshments and have the opportunity to greet the Worthy Grand Matron even if you can’t make it to the 3rd floor!  We will be dressing in summer casual attire.  No jackets for the men and no slacks for the ladies.  Thank you.

We have formed a Chapter Restoration Committee.  The purpose of this committee is to find ways to encourage our members to be more active in service and attendance to the meetings of our beautiful order.  Please contact Meigs Adams (330) 650-4846 or Jean Sisson (330) 968-6588 if you are interested in assisting the committee.
